About Us...


Financial Bursar Services was set up by Bhavini in April 2020 to provide bursar services to schools and similar institutions throughout Leicester. Although the business was formed in April 2020, Bhavini has been providing bursar services to schools for over 25 years.


Bhavini started working as a bursar with Leicestershire County Council and after a number of years, the bursar service moved to Leicester City Council where she worked within LA CYPS finance departments at Marlborough House.


In April 2009, Bhavini and a number of bursars set up a company called Bursar Financial Services Ltd., as Directors of the company. They traded as BFSL for 11 years offering schools professional services, then in March 2020 decided to close the company after which Bhavini decided to set up her own business as 'Financial Bursar Services' to continue providing services to schools and other financial institutions.


As Bhavini has a number of years' experience working as a bursar, she can help with all day-to-day running of finances as this is her specialised field. She also has an AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification which she completed whilst working at Leicestershire County Council.
